My Mother's Birthday! :)
Hello Guys!
How are you all? I am fine, thank you! 😊
Today is special as it is my mother's birthday. I wished her in the morning. I am lucky that I can visit my parents whenever I want as they stay some 17 kms away from me.
Me and my family are put up in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru and my parents in BTM Layout, Bengaluru.
My mother is my biggest support in whatever I do. I have learnt a lot from her like her cooking (can't match her ever in this 😜) skill, story-telling, home-making, people skills, and a lot more.
She always encourages me to try new things and to keep learning.
I call her 'Amma' and she is my first Guru. She taught me how to read and write. I used to say 'um.., aaa.., hmm..' in between the texts while reading. She never gave up until I got it right. Thanks Amma for that! Later in school, I was asked most of the times to read the lessons loud in the class, as I started reading English or Kannada or Hindi languages very fluently.
My mother never sleeps until she finishes all her work for the day. Her energy is amazing. And she is a learner. She is 64 today (which doesn't at all means she is old) and still she is very curious about everything. She uses smart phone and has accounts in Facebook and Instagram as well. She knows to use Google for any help. She browses YouTube for new recipes, spirituality conversations, etc.
I will send this blog's link to her today. She will be very happy to read this. 😄
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMMA! Love you a lot! Thanks for everything! 🙏
Okay! I am going to go now. Have to pick up my daughter from the school.
Tell me in the comments about your mother and how you celebrate her birthday.
I will be going to my parent's place this weekend. 💃
Bye! See you soon.

Love,
Usha.
